For the ROLMAKO brand, in the nearby town of Psary Małe, we built another hall. The company’s expansion included space that was partly intended for production purposes and partly for storage of agricultural machinery and parts. For the needs of the hall’s service, we also designed a social and office part. The new part of the plant occupies an area of 2,700 m2 with a cubic capacity of approx. 20,200 m3. As a general contractor, we built a two-bay hall using mixed technology. The foundation and footings were made of reinforced concrete. The main load-bearing structure consists of steel columns and plate girders.
The social and office part was built using traditional technology, brickwork made of silicate blocks. The ceiling between the floors was designed from prefabricated channel slabs. The hall’s wall cladding was made of sandwich panels in parts with variable colors. On the trapezoidal sheet metal roofing, thermal insulation of the roof surface is provided by polystyrene boards, and waterproofness by a PVC foil membrane. The roof structure is partially prepared for the installation of a photovoltaic system. Inside the hall, a double-girder, radio-controlled, overhead crane operates for the needs of the plant. Entry, exit and passages between the halls are provided by sectional gates with an electric drive.
